Who is responsible

SAMEpg, LLC operates screenscents.com and the ScreenScents waitlist. This notice covers this website and waitlist, rather than a future app, purchase or Pura account connection.

What we collect and why

• Waitlist information: your email address, signup time, the form you used, and a record of the version of the email-consent wording. We use this to manage the waitlist and send the launch and movie-experience updates you request.
• Website and security information: our hosting provider Cloudflare processes requests, which can include IP addresses, browser/device information and request details, to deliver and protect the website. Our signup database does not store IP addresses or browser fingerprints. The signup service uses an IP-based rate limit to reduce abuse.
• Privacy choices: essential browser storage remembers your optional-tracking choices for up to 180 days. You can change them through “Privacy choices” in the footer. Your email address is not saved in that browser storage.
• Optional measurement information: if the tools below are enabled and you allow the relevant category, they can receive browsing and device data, page visits, cookie identifiers and successful-signup events.

We do not collect payment details, Pura credentials or movie-viewing history through this waitlist. Please do not send sensitive information through the signup form.

Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel

Where enabled, these tools operate only under the choices described here. “Privacy choices” shows whether optional tools are currently active.

• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 helps measure visits and accepted waitlist submissions. It loads only when you allow Analytics. Google Signals is disabled in this implementation.
• Advertising: Meta Pixel and Google Ads can measure advertising results and support advertising audiences. They load only when you allow Advertising. Google Ads signup-conversion reporting also requires a configured conversion action.

Our signup code does not send your email address to Google or Meta, use advanced matching, or upload the waitlist as an advertising audience. The providers may still associate browsing information they receive with their own identifiers or information, according to their policies and your account settings.

Your cookie and advertising choices

No optional Google or Meta script is loaded by this site before the relevant consent. You can accept optional tools, keep essential storage only, or choose Analytics and Advertising separately. Refusing optional tools does not block the waitlist. Changing a saved choice reloads the page to stop previously loaded scripts; first-party measurement cookies accessible to this site are cleared during that change. This does not erase data already held by providers.

We honor a browser’s Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of advertising tracking, even if an earlier saved choice allowed it. Analytics is controlled separately. We do not sell waitlist email addresses. If you choose advertising tools, sharing certain browsing/device data for advertising may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some U.S. privacy laws. Leave Advertising off or use Global Privacy Control to opt out.

Who receives information

Cloudflare provides hosting, security, the signup Worker and D1 database. Authorized people working on ScreenScents can access the waitlist to manage it and send requested updates. Slack receives your email address and signup details in an internal team notification so we can manage new subscriptions. Access to those alerts follows our workspace permissions. Google and Meta receive optional measurement data only as described above. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate protections. We do not make the waitlist public.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist information while it is needed to provide the updates you requested. You can ask us to remove you at any time. We review the list when its purpose changes or ends and remove information that is no longer needed. Limited records may need to be retained for legal obligations, security or to respect an opt-out. Provider backups and security systems can retain information for their own documented periods.

Unsubscribe, access and deletion

To leave the waitlist, correct your email, request access to your information, or request deletion, email hello@samepagetech.io with “ScreenScents” in the subject. You can also use the opt-out method included in our marketing emails. We may need to verify that the email address belongs to you. We do not charge for an ordinary request.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to correct, delete, access or receive a copy of information, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing, or appeal a decision about a request. Contact us to exercise them or appeal. You may also complain to the relevant privacy regulator.

International visitors and legal bases

We operate from the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply to the relevant processing.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on your consent for requested email marketing and optional analytics/advertising, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website for necessary security processing, and legal obligations where applicable. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Children

The waitlist is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us if a child’s information has been submitted so we can address it.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page and its effective date when practices change. If a change requires a new choice or notice under applicable law, we will provide it.
